"Himalaya" described in the artist's own words: "This view was my beacon for a break away from the reality I knew. Everest was my destination in the process of understanding the meaning of 'persistence'. Each step towards Base Camp was one at a time, all the while the meaningful word was in the back of my mind. On my way to Kala Patthar (before I surrendered and turned back), I saw the summit of Everest in the most beautiful light that settled on me, and I had the experience of seeing the world in the beauty it has always had."
